People with LoL Accounts, basically, are the players that make up the LoL Community. Even if one does not play that much or plays on a regular basis, one is considered to be part of the LoL Community. As years go by and the number of League of Legends players increase, the perspective of the general public towards the LoL community is not quite on the positive. It is very common that one may say that the League of Legends Community is toxic. I would like to say that people shouldn’t generalize because this is not true all the time.
LoL Accounts: An Example, Kinda
I have been browsing Reddit and immediately went to the League of Legends Subreddit to see how people interact there. I was quite scared to find out that the general opinion on the LoL Community was true but fortunately, I found this post and I didn’t feel any negativity. The post was entitled “Why are league of legend’s characters called “champions”?” You would think that replies would be hostile but on the contrary, replies are fine. Here are some:
“maybe the real legends are the friends we made along the way”
“Players are the summoners who make their own legend with the help of the champions.
Now go out there and become a legend boy.”
Yes, I don’t deny the fact that there are instances that toxicity is prevalent but with an open mind, I think the cause of this is the level of competitiveness. Away from the game though, they are really nice. I know this is just one instance and wouldn’t make it absolute. It goes for the other side of the argument as well right? Maybe because they are just about to lose a game and common reaction is to get mad thus become toxic. This is not true all the time. Not all League of Legends Account owner is toxic.
What do you think? Did I make a point at least? Let us know in the comments section below your opinion.
