Hextech Crafting is a way of combining loot to turn them into permanent items such as a champion, champion skins or ward skin. Riot has introduced this to the community in hopes for League of Legends account users to have a more interactive and rewarding experience in the game (also to get free stuff!). Read on below for more information and how to do it.

Loot Rerolling for League of Legends Account Users

If you’ve acquired three loots of the same kind (champion shard, ward skin shard or Champion skin shard) but find that you do not want what you have and would like to try your luck, you may reroll them to be able to acquire one permanent loot. For example, reroll three Champion shards to be able to get one Champion permanently. Don’t worry, this process will guarantee that there will be no duplicates of Champions you already own.

Disenchanting Loot for League of Legends Account Users

If you receive loot that you already have or do not need, you have the option to Disenchant it to break down the loot and turn it into essences. Essences may be used to upgrade shards into permanent loot in the crafting table. To disenchant your loot, simply click on the loot and select “Disenchant” from the dropdown menu that will appear.

Upgrading Loot for League of Legends Account Users

Here comes the best part of the crafting system: turning your loot into permanent champions, ward skins or Champion skins. Once you’ve gathered enough shards and essences you are now eligible for upgrading in the crafting table. Use your accumulated essence to upgrade your single shards into permanent loot. Champion Essences upgrade Champions and Cosmetic Essences upgrade wards or Champion skins. Simply click on the desired Shard and select “Upgrade” from the dropdown menu that will appear. Each shard requires a certain amount of shards to be able to upgrade it, some require more than others, so always play your best with your friends to be able to gather enough loot! Protip: you may also disenchant unwanted loot to acquire more essences. Have fun crafting!
