MSI is like world championship. It is where regions eliminate teams and the winner gets to attend the mid season invitation. Wherein, winning mid season invitation weighs like winning the world championship since number one seeds of different regions are coming to compete. However, mid season invitation is not considered as world championship. People think that world championship still weighs greater. Technically, world championship weighs heavier. With just a single glance at the splash art of azir and zed, it is clear that zed has the upper hand in this match up. Even faker is having a hard time against zed when using azir. He was solo killed many times in solo queue and the memorable 2015 mid season invitational where febiven killed faker’s azir in a 1 versus 1. Living shadow serves zed multiple purposes: to extend his range, zoning, escape, and most of all it bypasses azir’s ultimate. Death mark is zed’s one way ticket to instantly kill azir. With living shadow and death mark, zed will definitely outmaneuver azir. Death mark is so fast that it gives no room for azir to react. The mid season update does not only come with mage update, but also new dragons! In competitive games, dragons matter less than towers. Players do not compete dragon as much as when the dragon gave gold than buffs. It goes like, kill the dragon, and we are going to take your tower. 1st to 4th buffs of dragon do not matter, what matter is the 5th buff which is very hard to achieve and can only be acquired in the late game. Elo Boost – Thoughts about Elemental Dragons: Elemental Dragons There are five new dragons: Fire dragon, Earth dragon, Water dragon, Wind Dragon and Elder dragon. The fire dragon increases the team’s attack damage and ability power, the same as the first buff. Fire dragon’s buff primarily aids the team for team fights. The earth dragon increases the team’s damage to towers and epic monster damage. Earth dragon increases the team’s ability to secure objectives. It is time to move on with the mid season update, after an explosive match between counter logic gaming and team solo mid. The mid season update is focused on mages. Malzhar, Brand, Vladimir, Zyra, Vel’koz, Cassiopeia, Annie, Swain, Ziggs, Syndra, Xerath, Anivia, and Veigar are getting buffed. Furthermore, Tear of the Goddess, Catalyst of Aeons, Chalice of Harmony, Hextech Revolver, Fiendish Codex, Hextech Gunblade, Archangel’s Staff, Morellonomicon, Athene’s Unholy Grail and Rod of Ages are getting a revamp. Hextech GLP-800 and Hextech Protobelt-01 are new items to join the hextech family. And say goodbye to the Will of the Ancients as the Ancient will shall never be forgotten. The movement speed gained for her passive does not stack with boots which makes Cassiopeia the first champion to free from the compulsory of owning boots. The same as bronze, silver games pretty much rely on the early game. If your team did really well in the early game, there is a high probability to win the game. The only difference is, silver players’ mechanical skills are higher than bronze players’. Like bronze players, most silver players prioritize kills than objectives. Killing a champion is not an objective, but the key to obtaining an objective. You do not kill a champion and go away without destroying a tower or securing dragon or baron. Upon killing a champion, make sure that you gain something out of it. LoL Boost – a Guide to Getting out of Silver: Pushing Lanes Since enemies are going to group up most of the time, try pushing lanes whenever they group up and tell your team to avoid the fight at all cost.
