Mid-season invitational 2016 is the best mid-season invitational so far. This tournament has so many upsets; faker being killed multiple times in the mid lane, having an awful standing of 0/6 as azir against RNG; Super Massive winning against the North America’s #1 seed – counter logic gaming; counter logic gaming had the unlikely win against RNG. And upsets are what makes this year’s mid-season invitational enticing. League of Legends Account – Korea Everybody expected SKT T1 to dominate this tournament. However, the Korean favorites are having a hard time in the international stage, losing four straight games in day 2 and day 3. At the remaining days of group stage, SKT T1 pulled their legs and won 4 straight games. League of legends tournaments are going to be interesting from now on as other regions are now capable of throwing punches at Korea. Elo Boost – The Legend of Faker

With an upsetting of SKT against China’s RNG, SKT is on their wit’s end. The game was chaotic. RNG has the gold and objectives lead. However, they can’t seem to finish the game immediately, resulting into one of the longest games in MSI 2016. We can’t say that SKT was crushed, but we can say that Faker was crushed in the mid lane, giving his team dead weight. And this is one of faker’s worst games in his entire career. It is a game where faker didn’t play as God. Elo Boost – the Players It is hard to say if faker degraded or the players in the league have just become better. MSI is like world championship. It is where regions eliminate teams and the winner gets to attend the mid season invitation. Wherein, winning mid season invitation weighs like winning the world championship since number one seeds of different regions are coming to compete. However, mid season invitation is not considered as world championship. People think that world championship still weighs greater. Technically, world championship weighs heavier. Theoretically, they are the same. League of Legends Account – Korea, China and Taiwan Of course, everybody knows that the winner is either Korea or China. It is supposed to kill the excitement knowing how strong these teams. However, seeing North America or Europe upset these teams are just satisfying to watch.
